The new MonsterVerse original series from Legendary Pictures follows the fearsome battle between Godzilla and the Titans that devastates San Francisco and a shocking new reality in which monsters are real. It follows the family’s journey to uncover hidden secrets and the legacy that ties them to the secret organization known as The Monarch.
Apple TV+ MonsterVerse series to be produced by Legendary Television with co-creators Chris Black (Star Trek: Enterprise, Rogue One), who will also serve as showrunner, and Matt Fraction (Hawkeye), alongside Joby Harold and Tori Tunnell. from Safehouse Pictures. Hiro Matsuoka and Takemasa Arita will serve as executive producers for Toho, the owner of the Godzilla character who licensed Legendary for the series, a natural outgrowth of their longtime relationship in the film franchise.
