Mophie launches new MagSafe stand for iPhone. Unfortunately, this does not allow you to charge the device.
Are you the type to use your phone when you charge it? If so, you might be interested to know that Mophie has just released a new iPhone stand that is both MagSafe compatible and compact enough to double as a stand. a small drawback, so to speak. Presentation.
Mophie Launches New MagSafe Stand for iPhone
Signed by Mophie, this new reference can be folded to a minimum volume and is only 2cm thick. In other words, the set is quite compact, at least enough to be carried comfortably in a backpack, for example. The accessory is equipped with metal hinges that allow the user to adjust the viewing angle as desired, positioning the iPhone as desired, vertically or horizontally. Sometimes watch videos or make video calls in good conditions.
Unfortunately, this does not allow you to charge the device.
That being said, and this is the reason we mentioned a slight defect in the introduction, or rather a missed opportunity, while this stem is indeed MagSafe compatible, it won’t allow you to charge your iPhone. In fact, the integration of MagSafe technology “just”keeps the iPhone in place. This means that if you need to charge your iPhone at the same time, you will have to use a good old cable.
As said, it’s a bit of a shame in the end, especially since MagSafe technology allows you to do just that. However, if you’re more interested in a stand than a charger, this new Mophie link might be perfect. It is sold at a retail price of 39.95 euros.
