Moto Edge 30 Pro Global Launch Schedule Announced

Motorola has been very busy in the last few weeks, releasing several Moto G series phones as well as a mid-range tablet. Now it looks like the company is shifting its focus to the premium segment as the Moto Edge 30 Pro smartphone is expected to hit the global market soon. Most likely, the Edge 30 Pro will be a rebranded version of the Moto Edge X30, which was launched in China back in December. According to earlier leaks, the Moto Edge 30 Pro will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor with up to 12GB of RAM, just like the Moto Edge X30. The device will run Android 12 out of the box. The Edge 30 Pro is also expected to feature a 6.7-inch 10-bit FHD+ POLED display with a 576Hz touch sampling rate, 700 nits peak brightness, and a 144Hz refresh rate.

In terms of optics, we can expect the Edge 30 Pro to feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP depth lens. For selfies and video calls, there is a 60-megapixel camera on the front. The device is powered by a 5000mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging.
