Moto G52 with Snapdragon 680, 90Hz display to go on sale April 25

The company has confirmed the launch of the Moto G52. The device was launched earlier this year in Europe. The upcoming Motorola smartphone will go on sale on April 25th. It will be available for purchase through Flipkart.

The device was launched in Europe at a price of 249 euros. It comes with a Snapdragon chipset. The phone also comes with a polycarbonate back panel. Let’s take a look at the features, specifications and other details of the Motorola Moto G52.

Moto G52 launch date confirmed

Motorola will launch the Moto G52 on April 25th. The company confirmed the launch and availability details in a Twitter teaser video. The teaser video confirms that the phone will be released in two colors – black and white.

The G52 comes with two storage options, with the base model equipped with 4GB of RAM. The higher storage variant has 6GB of RAM. It’ll be interesting to see if Motorola decides to launch the phone with multiple storage options, as it’s been refraining from doing so lately for its sub-$269 devices.

In terms of specifications, the phone comes with a 6.6-inch OLED display. It has a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The screen also has a tiny notch in the top center for the front camera. In case you’re wondering, the phone also supports a 90Hz refresh rate. For a good multimedia experience, there are two speakers and Dolby Atmos support.

Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. As mentioned above, the European model has up to 6GB of RAM. It is available with internal storage up to 256 GB. The phone also packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 30W fast charging out of the box.

The device boots Android 12 out of the box and has a MyUX layer on top. There is a triple camera on the back. There is a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The device is also equipped with a 16-megapixel front camera sensor. Finally, the phone has an IP52 water resistance rating.
