Can you kill students in Hogwarts Legacy?
Simple answer: no, you can’t kill students, teachers, and civilians in the game. The reason for this is simple, you are a student! While the game allows for different paths in the main and side quests, it lacks a morale system that would allow players to play as villains. You can, of course, kill monsters and other types of enemies during combat with spells that you learn along the way. Created by jedijosh920, the PC mod for Hogwarts Legacy Avada Kedavra allows players to use an unforgivable curse on any and all unfortunate students (and teachers) who dare to stand in your way.
While the Avalanche Software development team will no doubt be focused on refining and adding fixes and features to the current game, the ability to kill students could potentially break the game. But who knows what might happen next? Fans who want to dabble in the dark side will have to wait a bit before they can get the Hogwarts experience they’re looking for.
