Avengers: New Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars Films Will End the Multiverse Saga in 2025

Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars will hit theaters six months apart in three years.

The first three stages of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are collectively referred to as the “Infinity Saga”. Phase 1 includes Iron Man (2008), The Incredible Hulk (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010), Thor (2011) and Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) and ends with The Avengers (2012). Phase 2 includes Iron Man 3 (2013), Thor: The Dark World (2013), Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), “Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) and Ant-Man. (2015). Captain America: Civil War (2016) is the first film in Phase 3, followed by Doctor Strange (2016), Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017), Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Black Panther (2018), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018), Captain Marvel (2019), Avengers:

The three second phases of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are grouped together under the name “Multiverse Saga”and include a television series on Disney+. Phase 4 includes Black Widow (2021), Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021), The Eternals (2021), Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)), “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness”(2022). Thor: Love and Thunder (2022) and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022). Phase 5 begins with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantum Mania (2023), followed by Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 (2023), Marvels (2023), Blade (2023), Captain America: The New World Order (2024) and The Thunderbolts (2024). Phase 6 begins with Fantastic Four (2024) and ends with Avengers: Kang Dynasty (May 2, 2025) and Avengers: Secret Wars (November 7, 2025).

‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ Won’t Be Filmed By The Russo Brothers

Though at the root of many of Marvel Studios’ MCU successes, Joe and Anthony Russo have not been approached by Kevin Feige to work on the next Avengers films, even if the latter wants to collaborate with them again: “We love, they love us. We want to find something to do together. It just won’t happen… They are not connected with the project at all. They’ve been very straight forward about it with us.”

If the implementation of “Avengers: The Kahn Dynasty”was entrusted to Daniel Cretton, then “Avengers: Secret Wars”has not yet found its director.
