MultiVersus is an action platform video game featuring many iconic characters from various franchises. As you progress, you will encounter several characters and fight them. While fighting is one thing, taunting your opponents is the ultimate psychological warfare. It can be fun to tease characters like Batman and Arya Stark when you defeat them. There are various emotes that you can use to taunt your opponents. But the taunting system in the game is not well explained. So here is our guide explaining how to taunt in MultiVersus.
How to taunt in MultiVersus
Press one of the four directional keys on the D-pad to taunt your opponents. If you’re playing on PC, you can use the T, 2, 3, 4 keys to use taunts or emotes.

- Alternatively, you can also change these keyboard shortcuts by going to Main Menu > Settings > Controls.
- You will find the controls at the top of the submenu. Scroll down to go to the Taunts option.
- Select taunt slots and toggle them to assign key bindings.
- You can use four emotes or taunt slots.
Adding taunts or emotes makes up for the lack of voice chat and in-game chat in the game. You can use tantalizing emotes to bend your enemies. But don’t use them during a fight or match. In addition, you can also purchase them with Gleamium. Scroll to the end to find out.
How to buy or add taunts
Follow these steps:
- From the main menu, go to the “Collection”tab on the left panel of the screen.
- Then select the character you want to add the appropriate emotes to.
- When you select a character, you will see their current level and available unlocked emotes.
