Rested XP is a new hold mechanic in MultiVersus that you can use to complete the Battle Pass faster. Many games have so-called daily rewards, which are usually found in mobile games. And daily missions are commonplace in games like Fortnite, Valorant, and more. MultiVersus interestingly combined both of these mechanics in the form of XP rest. So in this guide, let’s check out how a rested XP system works in MultiVersus.

Leisure experience works by providing players with more experience for daily play. So instead of playing in one sitting for 4-5 hours, the game encourages you to play in short sessions daily. Indicated by a pink indicator under the Play button on the main screen. When it’s in effect, you can also see that there is this pink symbol next to your daily missions.
This meter depletes with every match you play. So be sure to complete your missions while it’s in effect. It depletes in every mode, which means it will deplete regardless of whether you complete a match in 1v1, Teams, or Free for Everyone. And once it reaches zero, you will no longer get 2x experience in your matches.
But don’t worry, it’s not gone forever, and there’s a way to replenish it.
How to Replenish a Rested Experience
You can replenish your rested experience without playing the game. It may seem counterproductive, but that’s how you replenish it. Once the rest experience meter is completely depleted, you will have to wait one full day, i.e. 24 hours, to get this bonus back.
How to use effectively
Here are some tips to help you make the most of your rested experience.
- Don’t deplete it: as explained above, you need to wait 24 hours if your rest experience reaches zero. So instead, play a few matches and complete your missions as much as possible while you still have some rest experience left.
- Change your missions: Change the daily missions you don’t like or can’t complete by rerolling them. If you get easier missions, you should be able to complete them before the pink bar depletes.
