MusicAlert brings Apple Music activity alerts from iOS 16.4 to iOS 16.3.1 and below.

A minor change in the iOS 16.4 beta is the new Apple Music queue and the beloved track alert pop-ups that help let the end user know when their action was successful, but who said you absolutely need to upgrade to iOS 16.4 to enjoy this function??

Indeed, with a new free jailbreak tweak called MusicAlert from iOS developer ETHN, you can enjoy the same type of alert pop-ups when queued, loved, added to playlists, and more in the Apple Music app, even if you’re jailbroken on iOS 16.3. 1 or below.

There is nothing special about the customization other than the improved popups you see above. This is a great way to feel like you’re on a newer version of iOS, even if you’re not, which can help with the outdated feeling that sometimes comes with hacking older firmware. So it’s a nice touch.

If you’d like to try MusicAlert, you can download the tweak for free from the Havoc repository through your favorite package management app.

MusicAlert is compatible with jailbroken iOS 13, 14, 15 and 16 devices and doesn’t have any options to customize. It is not recommended to use MusicAlert with other jailbreak settings that may conflict with it, such as MusicQueueBeGone.

The developer has also posted an open source tweak on GitHub for anyone who wants to know more about how it works internally.
