Oppo Find X5 Pro renders reveal non-polygonal rear camera module, punch-hole display

Oppo will likely launch its next flagship smartphone early next year. Exact launch dates remain unknown, but we can expect the device to debut in February or March 2021. Oppo will likely name the next flagship series Find X5 as several companies in China skip including the number 4 on their devices as it is considered an unlucky number. The company is expected to release at least two devices. These include the Find X5 and Pro models. Detailed information about the devices was leaked to the past. A new leak has now revealed the new design of the Find X5 Pro. Let’s take a look at the design, specifications and other details of the Oppo Find X5 Pro.

Oppo Find X5 Pro Design Renders

OPPO Find X5 Pro design renders have been leaked on Prepp, courtesy of the OnLeaks bug. Based on the render images, it can be assumed that the device will receive a new design. The device will be equipped with a triple camera on the back. The unique design of the camera module is an unusual polygonal shape. Like its predecessor, the camera module merges into the back panel on all sides to avoid sharp edges due to the protrusion.

The front of the phone has a slightly curved display with minimal bezels around it. There is a hole punch cutout in the top left corner of the screen. The volume keys are located on the left side of the bezel, while the power button is on the right edge.

According to the leaked specs, the Pro model will come with a 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The tiny hole-punch cutout is said to be equipped with a 32-megapixel front camera sensor. The camera module is said to house two 50-megapixel camera sensors on the back, each measuring 1/1.5 inches. It will include a 13-megapixel or 12-megapixel camera with 2x optical zoom.

The phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and can have up to 12GB of RAM. The device will most likely support 80W fast charging for a 4500mAh battery. More details should appear in the coming days.
