The common rooms of the Hogwarts houses modeled by Avalanche Software in Legacy of Hogwarts are based on the rooms of the magical universe created by British author J.K. Rowling.
When a wizard or witch enters Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, they are divided into different groups called houses. They are named after the founders of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, such as Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin. In addition, the Sorting Hat allocates students to these Houses based on their personality and the talents they possess, but some may simply request to be sent to a specific House.
Common rooms will play an important role in Hogwarts Legacy. While not critical to story progression, the common rooms will be a place where players can complete quests, chat with housemates, and relax in comfort. It’s also entirely possible that secrets are hidden in each of the common rooms, adding a level of replay value. Indeed, players from another house cannot enter a common room that does not belong to them. To fully experience the Hogwarts Legacy, fans will need to replay the open-world adventure RPG four times and choose a different house each time.
Gryffindor Common Room at Hogwarts Legacy
The common room of the Gryffindor house is located on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, behind the portrait of the Fat Lady, in front of which the student must say the password, the most famous of which is Caput Draconis.
Hufflepuff common room in Hogwarts Legacy
The Hufflepuff common room is located in the basement of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, behind a pile of large barrels stacked in a dark stone niche. The student should tap the second barrel from the bottom in the middle of the second row at Helga Hufflepuff’s pace. If you hit the wrong barrel or don’t follow the correct rhythm, a stream of vinegar will pour on the intruder.
The Ravenclaw Lounge at Hogwarts Legacy
The common room of Ravenclaw House is located in the west wing of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The student must correctly answer the question given by the eagle-shaped knocker.
Slytherin Common Room at Hogwarts Legacy
The common room of the Slytherin faculty is located in the dungeons of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, behind the vault of a stone snake, in front of which the student must say the password.
