Customize the Background of the App Library and Today View with Vortex

Hyperixa has released yet another new jailbreak tweak, this time focusing on wallpaper images from different aspects of the iOS operating system.

The new jailbreak tweak, dubbed Vortex, allows users to set unique wallpaper images for the Today View (widget page) and App Library (last home screen page).

Without Vortex installed, the background of the aforementioned interfaces usually takes the form of a blurry version of your home screen wallpaper. On the other hand, with Vortex, the background image can be different from your current home screen wallpaper and it won’t be blurry.

Once installed, users will find a dedicated settings panel within the Hyperixa app where they can customize Vortex to their liking:

Things you can do here include:

  • Enable or disable Vortex on demand
  • Enable and select a custom Today View background image.
  • Enable and select a custom App Library background image.

One of the things we really like about Vortex is that you can set the backgrounds for the App Library and Today View independently so they don’t have to be the same image.

If you’re ready to take the background of your App Library and Today View to the next level, you can download the new Vortex tweak for free from the Hyperixa repository through your favorite package manager app. The tweak only supports jailbroken iOS 14 devices.

If you are not already using the Hyperixa repository, you can add it to your package manager application using the URL below:
