iQoo is gearing up to launch its flagship next-generation iQoo 9 series in China. While the company has yet to officially announce a launch date for the same product, a couple of new launch posters on the Weibo platform have suggested a launch date for the iQoo 9 series in China.

In China, the iQoo 9 series is expected to launch on January 5, the day after Realme unveils the Realme GT 2 series in China. The poster also confirms the presence of the BMW Motorsport Edition, LTPO 2.0 Display and more. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming iQoo 9 series.

iQoo 9 series launch date confirmed

The release of the iQoo 9 series is scheduled for January 5 in China. The teaser also confirms that the series will be released in a special edition, just like the latest generation devices in partnership with BMW Motorsport. In addition, the phone will also feature a dragon engraving on the back along with a red, black and blue racing stripe. The teaser also confirms a triple camera setup on the back with a large black sunshade on the back of the device. It also confirms optical image stabilization and LED flash.

iQoo 9 Specifications Expected

The device has been spotted on several certification sites over the past few weeks. IQoo 9 will most likely be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The iQoo 9 Pro device is expected to feature the same SoC. In addition, iQoo 9 is expected to have a 120Hz AMOLED display with an independent display chip, just like the latest generation flagship phones. The teaser also confirms the LTPO 2.0 display, which should offer a smoother variable refresh rate. The iQoo 9 is also said to have 120W fast charging. The iQoo 9 is said to be equipped with a 50MP main camera and a 4650mAh battery.

Since iQoo is more focused on gaming, the device is expected to come with X-axis dual linear vibration motor and dual pressure-sensitive shoulder buttons to help gamers. It is also expected to install two speakers. Additionally, the leaks also suggest that the iQoo 9 could have gimbal stabilization in the rear camera, which in turn could be one of its key new features.
