The unpublished AltStore app for iPhone and iPad has been updated to version 1.6.3 with a small list of improvements.
The AltStore team announced AltStore 1.6.3 via Twitter on Wednesday afternoon, noting that it will include the following changes for users:
- Fixed a bug when getting Friendzone Patrons.
- Fixed wrong cell height for some news items.
As you can probably tell for yourself, AltStore version 1.6.3 isn’t a major update and doesn’t include any major new features, but it does improve the user experience a bit by fixing graphical bugs affecting news items in the app.
AltStore version 1.6.3 is recommended for all current and potential users who want the best possible user experience. If you are already a user, you can upgrade by simply going to the OTA update link in the AltStore app, or you can simply reinstall it using AltServer on your Mac or PC.
With AltStore, you can install apps on your iPhone or iPad that are not approved for the App Store. This unpublished app download process requires an Apple ID and will require you to re-sign installed apps every seven days to continue using them.
