The most recent devices and firmware are compatible with the new Cowabunga Lite system modification app

The all-inclusive system modification program Cowabunga, which uses TrollStore or the MacDirtyCow exploit to function, may be well known to many of our readers. Cowabunga is available for both jailbroken and non-jailbroken devices.

The MacDirtyCow hack has sadly been patched, which is why iOS developers LeminLimez and Avangelista have been working diligently on a new product called Cowabunga Lite that will now be readily available starting this week.

Cowabunga Lite: What is it? We appreciate you asking. Even with the most recent firmware, you can modify your iPhone or iPad with this macOS program without having to jailbreak it. According to remarks made by the creator in the /r/jailbreak release post, it uses Apple’s restoring functionality to function and cannot be patched by the company.

For the duration of the customization process, the end user who is using Cowabunga Lite must turn off Locate My on the device they are trying to configure. Locate My may be reactivated after the customizations have been made.

Creating a backup of your device before making changes is highly advised.

The list of capabilities for Cowabunga Lite for TrollStore and MacDirtyCow devices is constrained in comparison to the full-featured Cowabunga app, hence the “light” in the name. The list of features contains:

– Easy WebClip (shortcut) icon theming with no banner or redirects
– All Status Bar changer features from Cowabunga (such as Custom Carrier)
– Killing OTA Updates
– Mute module in CC
– Lock Screen footnote
– Supervising devices
-Custom animation speeds
– Various springboard toggles
– And more!

Even the most recent smartphones running the most recent firmware can benefit from these system tweaks because a jailbreak isn’t necessary to create them. But keep in mind that you use this method at your own risk while making alterations.

Do you intend to use Cowabunga Lite’s system customisation features? Comment below with your reasoning for doing so or against doing so.
