The acquisition of Dynamo Pictures will strengthen Nintendo’s visual content planning and production structure.
A Japanese computer graphics company that creates computer graphics for films, television, video games, CM (Japanese commercials), pachinko (the equivalent of a slot machine), and events, and provides motion capture services. Dynamo Pictures is in the process of becoming a subsidiary of Nintendo and has renamed itself Nintendo Pictures to focus on developing visual content using licenses from the Kyoto firm.

The acquisition for an undisclosed amount is expected to close on October 3rd. This will only marginally impact Nintendo’s financial results this fiscal year.
