Nintendo reorganizes its branches in Europe

Nintendo France, Nintendo Benelux and Nintendo Ibérica will soon merge into one single entity with Nintendo of Europe.

Japanese manufacturer Nintendo will proceed with an acquisition -type merger in the coming months, in which the headquarters of Nintendo of Europe, led by Stefan Bohle since 2018, will become a “survival”company, and Nintendo France, Nintendo Benelux and Nintendo Ibérica, which will also be subsidiaries, there will be non-existent companies. Contrary to what one might think, not all of Nintendo’s European offices will be closed, meaning there won’t be any cutbacks, let alone having to travel to Frankfurt in Germany to keep your job.

A Nintendo spokesperson states:

In order to increase business efficiency and speed up decision-making through the consolidation of functions within Nintendo of Europe, other subsidiaries in Europe will be merged into NOE. As part of the reorganization, NOE’s corporate form will change to Nintendo of Europe SE as the new central European regional headquarters.
