Nintendo Switch Sports, sequel to Wii Sports

Nintendo is relaunching its acclaimed collection of sports simulation minigames on Switch.

In addition to the tennis, baseball and bowling already featured on Wii Sports, Nintendo Switch Sports will feature new activities such as chambara (attack your opponent to knock them off the platform and block their shots), soccer (perform dynamic actions with a giant ball and use the Joy-Con controllers to shoot and head jump), badminton (hold the shuttlecock in the air, turn it left or right and throw powerful shots to gain an advantage) and volleyball (use the Joy-Con to serve, catch, pass and split) locally or online. Thanks to the items obtained in the online game, especially in the professional league, in which you are invited to increase your ranking by achieving victory in various disciplines, players will be able to customize their avatar.

Nintendo Switch Sports will be available on April 29 exclusively on Nintendo Switch. Please note that Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will be able to access the online play test from the end of next week.

Two free updates are already planned. Scheduled for this summer, the first will allow football to be played with the Ring Fit Adventure leg strap, while the second, scheduled for this fall, will add golf to the gaming discipline.
