HMD Global may soon release a Nokia smartphone. The company produces several budget and mid-range C, G, and X series smartphones. As part of the G series, the company launched the Nokia G20 in 2021. Looks like the successor to the G20 is coming soon. A new report claims that the Nokia G21 launch is imminent.
A report from 91Mobiles states that Nokia’s budget smartphone will debut in February. The report also lists some of the key specifications of the device. Let’s take a look at Nokia G20 specs, launch schedule and other details.
Nokia G21 launch
Nokia G21 will be a new budget smartphone that will be released next month. The specifications of the device were leaked ahead of launch. According to the report, the Nokia smartphone will have a triple rear camera setup. The device will have a 50MP main camera. It will be accompanied by a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor.
The device will also come with a 6.5-inch display. Since this is a budget smartphone, the phone will have an IPS LCD. The screen will have an HD+ resolution of 1600×720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9. It may have 60Hz refresh rate support. Under the hood will be an eight-core processor. It is currently unknown which chipset will be packed inside the G21.
The phone will most likely be equipped with 3GB/4GB of RAM as well as up to 128GB of internal storage. It will also offer support for microSD cards. The device will ship with connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, and a USB Type-C port. There will also be a 3.5mm headphone jack.
