After acquiring a 30.7% stake in Supermassive Games in 2021, the Danish group Nordisk Games is acquiring all the shares in the British studio.
Nordisk Games, owned by entertainment company Nordisk Film, part of the leading Scandinavian media group Egmont, has built a fast-growing portfolio of game studios through minority and majority stakes, including Avalanche Studios Group, Star Stable Entertainment, Flashbulb Games, Nitro Games, MercurySteam, and now Supermassive Games (Until Dawn, The Dark Pictures Anthology, The Quarry). Founded in 2008 by Pete Samuels and Joe Samuels, the British studio has grown in just a few years to over 300 talented developers who share a love of high-quality production and cinematic excellence.
