At the beginning of this year, nothing was releasing truly wireless Ear 1 headphones. The earbuds received a lot of hype, primarily due to their unique design. Part of the headphones and the included charging case had a transparent design. The other half had a layer of white robe on top. Recently, no one has asked their social media followers about replacing white with black. Turns out there could be a black Ear 1 in development as well. According to a new report from 91Mobiles, a Nothing Ear 1 Black color option will be launched soon.
Citing leaker Ishan Agarwal, the report says nothing is working on a black color variant that will have the same specs as the currently available Ear 1. While the company did ask its social media followers about the color variant, she hasn’t endorsed anything to make it available to the consumer. We can expect the black color option to be available in the coming days/weeks given Agarwal’s accurate data in the past.
Nothing Ear 1 price, features
Nothing Ear 1 was originally released at $80. It was available in a single white color and was available for purchase through Flipkart. Due to rising component prices and other factors, the company had to increase the price of its first and only product by $13. Ear 1 price is currently set at $95.
USP Ear 1, except for its design, is ANC. It offers two levels of ANC for ambient sound cancellation. Those who need both options can switch to transparency mode. The earbuds support Bluetooth 5.2 and can be connected to any Android or iPhone via Bluetooth and the Ear 1 app. Each earbud weighs about 4.7 grams and houses a 31mAh battery. The charging case contains a 570 mAh battery. Together, the headphones provide up to 24 hours of use without recharging with the ANC function. Without ANC, battery life will be around 34 hours.
