Taiwanese PC maker Acer has unveiled its latest laptop called the Aspire Vero. The Aspire Vero is a laptop that is built with a 30% PCR plastic body that reduces CO2 emissions by 21% to produce this part and is built with sustainability in mind, and Acer has also used 50% PCR plastic on the keycaps.

The laptop is priced at $1,056 and will be available at the Acer Online Store, Acer Exclusive Stores, and other authorized retailers. The laptop is currently on sale in Acer’s online store for $805, along with some offers such as first year accidental damage protection and a $118 two-year extended warranty for $12.
In addition, when exchanging any laptop for an Acer Aspire Vero, customers can receive an additional $27 discount. Acer also offers free EMI for HDFC, ICICI and Axis bank cards for three months and six months on EMI terms.
Acer Aspire Vero Specifications
The Acer Aspire Vero features a 15.6-inch Full-HD IPS LCD with TFT LED backlight. There are narrow bezels around the display, and the screen-to-body ratio is 81.42%. It features an 11th Gen Intel Core i5 (1155G7) quad-core processor up to 4.50GHz, paired with 8GB DDR4 RAM and a 512GB NVMe SSD along with Intel Iris Xe graphics. However, users can expand the RAM up to 12 GB by inserting an additional 4 GB memory card.
Acer Aspire Vero tries to be as green as possible
The laptop runs Windows 11 out of the box, and Acer has added a physical privacy switch to the laptop for its webcam. The laptop’s keyboard is backlit and the laptop comes with Windows Hello, allowing users to log in securely using the built-in fingerprint scanner. In terms of connectivity, the Acer Aspire Vero offers the latest Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, Gigabit Ethernet, an HDMI port, one USB 3.1 port, one USB 3.2 port, one USB Type-C port, and one USB 2.0 port.
The laptop comes with Acer’s VeroSense app, which improves energy efficiency and helps users extend battery life. There are different modes that users can choose according to their requirements – Performance, Balanced, Eco, and Eco+. The Acer Aspire Vero comes with a 3-cell, 48Wh battery, and according to Acer, the laptop can last up to 10 hours with this battery. The laptop also supports 65W charging. As an approach to a greener world, Acer designed the laptop packaging box in such a way that users can use the box and its contents to turn the packaging into a fully functional laptop stand.
