New PlayStation Plus Available Now in India: Pricing, Plans and Features

The new PlayStation Plus Extra and Deluxe tiers are now available in India, giving players access to a large catalog of games as well as other features such as game trials and a catalog of classic games. Players already subscribed to PlayStation Plus will be given an easy upgrade option based on the remainder of their current subscription plan.

Players can choose to upgrade to Extra or Deluxe on the PlayStation website in a browser or on a PS4/PS5 console. Players’ active PS Plus subscriptions will automatically be converted to PS Plus Essential, a tier that offers the same services as the previous iteration of PlayStation Plus.

The upgrade is quite simple and players will have to pay a one-time fee to upgrade to a higher level. Players will then be required to pay the new subscription amount at the end of the maintenance period.

PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra and Deluxe now active in India

The catalog of games offered in both Deluxe and Extra is quite large and contains many big names including Red Dead Redemption 2, Returnal, Demon’s Souls and Death Stranding: DIRECTOR’S CUT.

The Deluxe level offers players an additional catalog of classic games that contains games for previous generations of consoles such as Siphon Filter, Jak and Daxter, as well as a number of remasters such as The Last of Us Left Behind, God of War III Remastered and Bulletstorm: The Complete Edition clip.

The catalog contains a range of PS5 games, so the new service seems ideal for those who may have just bought a new console and need a few games to get started. New subscriptions are available at the following prices:
