In a tweet posted by a TrollStore developer on Monday, it appears that someone has made a shortcut that fetches and installs the latest version of the TrollStore utility from GitHub. The shortcut is available via the iCloud link and can be easily added to the Shortcuts app via the linked page, where users will find the blue “Get Shortcut”button.
Similarly, a similar version of the updater based on the TrollStore Shortcuts app goes through /r/jailbreak and has also been published through the iCloud link. The Reddit thread shows a screenshot of the actual shortcut in use, allowing us to better understand how it works:
While the shortcut performs the same task as simply updating TrollStore on its own, it cuts down on the steps you take to do so, which can make it a useful addition for existing TrollStore users who want to keep up to date as updates come out.
