Potential jailbreakers have been drooling for good news for months now, and while there is no public jailbreak for iOS 15.x yet (with the exception of Palera1n for developers with checkm8-compatible devices), we at least have a TrollStore to Hold us while we wait.
In the meantime, we are proud to present our readers with this comprehensive roundup of all the latest jailbreak news and tweak releases for the week of Monday 1st October 17th to Sunday 23rd October. We’ll start with the latest news and then move on to jailbreak tweak releases and alternative content.

Palera1n Jailbreak Gets Automatic Updates
The palera1n team has silently released an update to the palera1n developer-only jailbreak tool based on the checkm8 exploit for A9-A11 devices running iOS 15.x, fixing the deep sleep issue.
According to developer @itsnebulalol, the update was released silently because the bug fix only worked for some users, not all.

TrollTools for TrollStore
With the new TrollTools app for TrollStore, users can customize the home screen app icons, the look of the passcode buttons on the lock screen, and the look of app icon icons in iOS 15.
The app is an all-in-one app that combines the power of multiple apps in one, and best of all, the developer claims it’s more stable than others.

Spoof iPhone Location Using TrollStore
The new Localization Changer app for TrollStore allows users, hacked or not, to spoof their current location.
The app works by allowing the user to select a location in the Apple Maps app, place a pin there, and then export it to the app. From there, the saved location can be “simulated”on demand to make other apps on the iPhone think you are currently at that location.
You can learn more about Localization Changer and how it works in our full news release about it.
New TrollStore security feature
TrollStore received an update to version 1.2.1 last week to add a security feature that will prevent apps from having the same ID as Apple’s system/preinstalled apps.
The fix was allegedly needed to resolve a boot loop issue that might have occurred in this case.
You can read more about the TrollStore v1.2.1 update in our full news.
The next day, another update version 1.2.2 was released with further improvements to this bootloop protection system, which you can read about in our other news post.
