Apple Arcade will receive new games for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple TV in April 2023, including Team17’s Summon Quest, a unique version of Minesweeper, and two arcade versions of existing App Store games.
There are four new items in the Apple Arcade lineup for April. There are two brand new games – a role-playing game with roguelite core elements from the legendary Team17 and the official Doctor Who game – and two improved versions of existing games in the App Store – an open world ski and snowboard game and a unique version of Minesweeper.
The new games will be released throughout April and will be available exclusively to Apple Arcade subscribers at no additional charge. You can tap or click the “Get”button on each game’s page to be notified when the game is ready to download.

Created by developer WhaleApp in conjunction with publisher TiltingPoint (which has three titles on Netflix Games), this IP game is Apple Arcade’s first release.
In this game with an original story in the Who universe and various quest modes, you find hidden objects by playing various mini-games and events, whether online or offline. If you like puzzle gameplay, don’t miss it!

Big Mountain Adventure+ (April 14)
Developer Toppluva mainly focuses on Nintendo, so this is his second game in the App Store. Based on the current iPad game Grand Mountain Adventure, Grand Mountain Adventure+ offers a gameplay without ads, in-app purchases or tracking.
The open world ski and snowboard simulator features an efficient trick system that allows you to perform somersaults, spins, plugs, rails and combos. There is a lot of content to keep you glued to your screens. The game features 11 open world mountains to explore, including avalanches, wildlife, sunsets, and busy slopes.
On top of that, three of them are over 200 different challenges including Super G, Slopestyle, Freeride and Big Air. There’s a zen mode for those times when you just want to relax while taking in the mountains.
Local multiplayer is supported over Wi-Fi.

Call Quest+ (April 21)
Team17, one of the oldest game developers, releases Summon Quest, their role-playing game with challenging combat and varied gameplay.
You must complete each stage to unlock new equipment and expand your arsenal with new skill combinations. You will recruit conscripts to fight by your side, defeat bosses and explore the magical world of the game. Summon Quest offers 60 levels to keep you busy. If that’s not enough for you, how about completing each region on Easy, Medium, and Extreme difficulty levels for some pretty nice rewards?

Cornflower (April 28)
Created by developer Robert Morrison, Cornsweeper is a relaxing version of Minesweeper with unique visuals and lo-fi music.
The game has a lot of potential despite being created by one developer. A whimsical re-imagining of a beloved classic replaces mines with tasty popcorn, while you need to avoid explosions.
With 70 handcrafted levels and clues from investigators to find secrets, Cornsweeper offers unique twists. There is also a dynamic arcade mode that you need to unlock first.

How to view a list of upcoming Apple Arcade games
To see a list of upcoming Apple Arcade games, go to the Arcade tab in the App Store on your device, then scroll down and tap the View All Games option. Click “Filters”at the top to narrow the list by release date, then turn on the “Coming Soon”filter.
Apple may remove tiles from the catalog due to poor interaction or the expiration of contracts. Remote games are available on Arcade for another two weeks.
