New 15-inch MacBook Air expected in 2023?

Apple may be preparing a 15-inch MacBook Air. Launch scheduled for 2023?

Until a few years ago, Apple MacBook laptops were only offered in two sizes: 15 and 17 inches. Then the Cupertino company decided to more or less drop the 17-inch, 15-inch became the most common in the catalog. Then the Apple brand introduced more compact options like the 11-inch MacBook Air, and last year added the 14-inch MacBook Pro. What makes a wide variety of screen sizes, agree.

Apple may be preparing a 15-inch MacBook Air

Today, according to DSCC’s latest quarterly report, CEO Ross Young is hinting that the American giant is currently developing a new 15-inch MacBook Air.

The Apple MacBook Air is generally viewed as a more affordable alternative to the MacBook Pro, but it’s easy enough to imagine that moving to a 15-inch panel should up the bill and make it more expensive. That being said, at the same time, there’s sure to be an audience, MacBook Air fans or elsewhere, that will easily appreciate the larger screen in such a machine.

Launch scheduled for 2023?

Ross Young’s report also claims that this particular model may not launch until 2023, so don’t expect it during this year’s Apple brand events. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of a larger MacBook Air. Some time ago Mark Gurman, a Bloomberg journalist, suggested that such a machine was in the works, but the man also warned that the Apple brand could have given up on the project altogether.

This new report says otherwise. In any case, we’re still a long way from 2023, and hence the eventual launch of a 15-inch MacBook Air. Still can happen.
