The trailer for The Last of Us is making waves. See you on January 15th.
To wait for the release of the film adaptation of The Last of Us in the HBO series, the channel decided to publish a new trailer. We hope this will allow fans to speed up a few weeks to January 15, 2023, the launch date for the highly anticipated series.
The Last of Us trailer is a delight
At nearly two and a half minutes, this trailer gives us the best glimpse of Craig Mazin’s work (Chernobyl). And for those who may have been worried that the series is too tied to Naughty Dog content, this video shows that the creators have not been afraid to integrate novelty into the franchise.
And it shows very quickly, with a short scene in which Ellie pretends to be a firecracker. The following dialogue is one of the highlights of this trailer. Later, the most attentive fans will be able to see Ashley Johnson, the actress who voiced Ellie in video games.
See you on January 15
If you’re not familiar with The Last of Us, this trailer gives a really good look at the story behind the first game, which centers on Joel and Ellie, played by Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in the HBO series. Joel must escort Ellie to a post-apocalyptic version of the United States in the hope that she will be the key to protecting what’s left of the human population from a fungal infection that turns the victims into highly dangerous aggressive zombie creatures called the Infected.
With all the marketing content that HBO has already shared for The Last of Us, it’s clear that the channel has high hopes for this series. And the least we can say is that fans are looking forward to discovering this adaptation. See you on January 15, 2023, until then, watch the trailer below.
