As the God of War Ragnarok release date approaches, PS players are looking forward to it. That being said, several players are wondering if the game will be included with a PS Plus subscription. There are a few instances where single player games are available to PS Plus Players at no additional cost. Due to this, several players want to get GOW Ragnarok at a lower price. But can God of War Ragnarok be played with a PS Plus subscription? Check out our guide to find out.
Do you need a PS Plus subscription to play God of War Ragnarok?
The answer to this question is no! You don’t need to subscribe to PS Plus to play God of War Ragnarok. Since the game will be single-player offline, a PS Plus subscription will not be required. Although it includes several single-player games, GOW Ragnarok will not be available at launch on PS Plus. To play GOW Ragnarok, you need to purchase the entire game.
God of War Ragnarok will release on November 9, 2022 for $60 and $70 for PS4 and PS5 respectively. While the disappointment of signed players is understandable, there is a downside. Since God of War (2018) is available for PS Plus users, PlayStation may enable GOW Ragnarok for PS4 and PS5 after a while.
