Everyone put your hands up and say yes! (YES!) It’s the weekend again, and you know what that means: it’s time for another edition of our App of the Week review. We’ve got some great options for you this week, including an AI app you can talk to, a music player for kids, and a fun digital map maker. And, as always, we have chosen a cool new game for you.
Oasis AI
I’m telling you now, get used to these AI apps, this trend is not going away anytime soon. I try to only point out unique or useful ones and I think it could be both. Oasis AI allows you to create the “perfect letter”in any format by simply speaking. AI transcribes your natural speech and then transcribes it as a professional email, blog post, college essay, text message, TikTok video script and more. This is different than the standard “instruct the AI to do this task”application and seems worth checking out.
Musicalia
It looks like a real neat app for those with kids. Musikalia is a music player that is easy to use for kids of all ages. You just add any songs from Apple Music and they can be played from within the app by clicking on their cover art. Obviously, this requires an Apple Music subscription, but if you’ve been looking for a sandbox music app for your kids, it seems like it’s worth checking out.
CardGifty – birthday wishes card
I know digital greeting cards went out of fashion a few years ago, but CardGifty is bringing it back, baby! You can create your own gift cards using a variety of fun templates, videos, stickers, and songs, and there are options for any occasion—birthday, anniversary, wedding, and more. You can send a limited number of greeting cards for free, but if you enjoy it, you can unlock unlimited greeting card privileges and new content for $5 a month.
Neodori forever
Reminiscent of classic 90s games like Top Gear and Pole Position, Neodori Forever brings you a simple racing game in all its pixelated beauty. It features over 25 unique unlockable vehicles, 11 different environments, day and night cycles, and is compatible with your favorite gamepad. Plus, the levels are randomly generated each time, so you’ll never play the same track twice.
