Realme is gearing up to launch its next flagship smartphone in the GT series. The GT 2 series will debut in China on January 4th. The company is expected to launch at least two new flagship devices in the series. These are vanilla GT 2 and GT 2 Pro. Leading up to the launch, the company began teasing key details of the Pro model. The latest teaser reveals the back panel design of the GT 2 Pro. Official images confirm that previously leaked design images showing the camera module design is similar to the Nexus 6P were fake. Realme GT 2 Pro design
Realme has unveiled the design of the GT 2 Pro ahead of the official launch. Design images reveal the back panel design and details of the camera module. On the back of the device is a rectangular camera module. It has two large circular cutouts and a tiny third between the two LED flash modules. The text on the camera module confirms that there is a dual 50MP sensor on the back of the phone. The ultra-wide camera will have a 150 degree field of view. The details of the third camera sensor have not been officially confirmed, but the phone is rumored to come with an 8MP telephoto lens.
The white back panel is made of bio-based polymer. It uses a biopolymer material that serves as an environmentally friendly alternative to fossil raw materials that contribute to global warming.
Other details of the device have been leaked to the past. The phone is rumored to feature a 6.8-inch WQHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The device is rumored to have up to 12GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage.
