It looks like Xiaomi is working on a new phone in the Redmi 10 lineup. The upcoming Redmi phone could hit the market as the Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G. Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G is codenamed light. The folks at Xiaomi Firmware Updater have posted a link to the MIUI India ROM firmware for the upcoming device. For those who don’t know, the Redmi Note 11E released a couple of months ago in China also has a codename.
Judging by the codename, the upcoming Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G will be renamed Redmi Note 11E 5G. The new development is consistent with the statements of Kacper Skshipek. For those who don’t know, back in March, Katzper said that Redmi Note 11E 5G will debut as Redmi 10 5G, Redmi 10 Prime+ 5G, and Poco M4 5G in different markets.
Specifications and features of Redmi Note 11E 5G
The Note 11E offers a 6.58-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and waterdrop notch. The phone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor and Mali G57 GPU. It uses LPDDR4X RAM and UFS2.2 storage. The phone boots MIUI based on Android 11. However, Redmi 10 Prime+ may come out with MIUI 13 based on Android 12 in India.
The Note 11E packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. It has a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP rear sensor and a 2MP portrait sensor. There is also a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. The phone offers a Type-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Note 11E is available in three color options: black, gray and green. It weighs 200 grams and measures 163.99 x 76.09 x 8.9mm.
