OnePlus, the Chinese Android manufacturer, has started rolling out a new update for the OnePlus 9R. The latest update brings the November 2021 Android security patch to the phone. The company has already released the November patch for other phones in the OnePlus 9 series – OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro. The November update patch comes with OxygenOS 11.2.6.6. OnePlus says this OTA will be gradual. Hence, it is being rolled out to a small percentage of users for now, and the company will begin a wider rollout in a few days.
OnePlus 9R features and specifications
The OnePlus phone features a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display panel has a cutout and an optical in-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM. The OnePlus 9R offers a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor, a 16MP Sony IMX481 ultra-wide lens with a 123-degree field of view, a 5MP macro lens, and a 2MP monochrome lens.
The OnePlus 9R features a 4,500mAh battery and 65W WARP Charge 65 fast charging. The phone currently runs Android 11. However, the phone may receive an update to Android 12.
