Palera1n-c version 2.0.0 beta 4 update adds additional improvements

This week, the palera1n team quietly released another update to the C-rewritten jailbreak tool commonly referred to as palera1n-c. The latest version available to the general public is version 2.0.0 beta 4.

Referring to the changelog for Palara1n v2.0.0 beta 4, we can conclude that the update brings the following changes:

– Show error instead of crash when no USB ports are detected on machine – Fix detection of DFU mode devices that are already connected when starting Palera1n-c – Force SpringBoard to show non-default system apps (seems to be relevant for iPad) – Fix version string

The jailbreak tool,palera1n-c, was first launched over the weekend, with improved performance and C overwrite stability compared to the original tool. These updates improve the rewrite even further, making it better for end users, even though it’s technically still a public beta.

If you are just getting started with palera1n-c then obviously you will need the latest beta when trying to jailbreak. The same goes for those who are already using palera1n-c, as it is easy to re-apply the latest jailbreak on the next reboot.

As always, you can purchase the latest version of palera1n-c from the project’s GitHub page. Palera1n-c jailbreak supports phones with A9-A11 chip running iOS or iPadOS 15.0-16.3.1.
