Instagram web app finally looks good on big screens
Instagram head Adam Mosseri has announced some changes to Instagram videos.
Changes include a redesigned web interface that looks better on larger screens and the ability to schedule posts for creators and professional accounts.
For starters, the Instagram web app has never been particularly impressive, but Meta has been working hard to make it better than the native mobile app.
“We know a lot of people use the internet to multitask, and we wanted to make sure Instagram was as user-friendly as possible online,”Mosseri said. “So it’s cleaner, faster and easier to use, and it’s now designed to take advantage of larger screen monitors.”Read: How to Post Images and Videos to Instagram Online

Hands-on experience with the updated Instagram web app
The desktop interface now provides navigation in the left column: Home, Search, Explore, Messages, Notifications, New, and Profile. This column makes navigation a lot easier than before, especially because it’s always visible.
Prior to this change, these sections were at the top of the grid, requiring you to scroll up wherever you were if you wanted to navigate to another section of the app. The new resistant side column solves this problem.
Depending on the screen size, the navigation column may collapse into icons.
To access your Instagram settings, your saved messages, and more, click the “More”icon in the bottom left corner. Another update: the Explore and Search pages now display a full grid covering all available screen space.
The middle column resembles what you see in the mobile app. It’s basically your feed with stories from friends upstairs. In the right column, you can choose between multiple Instagram profiles, view offers, and more.
Still no app for iPad
Instagram has never released an app for the iPad, and it doesn’t look like one is coming anytime soon. According to Mosseri’s earlier comment, the iPad was “not big enough”to justify a native app. However, with the updated Web App, Meta can target multiple screen sizes without having to create for each individual app.
