With watchOS 9, Nike watch faces are available on all Apple Watch models, not just the Nike version. This transition is a treat for all Apple Watch owners who previously could only wish for a fitness-focused face. These backgrounds are the creative work of @mattbirchler, who runs the Apple-focused blog birchtree.me and the A Better Computer YouTube channel. His channel focuses on the best use of common software, new applications and gadget service recommendations.
Birchler mentions that he too used Nike’s newly discovered face access. At the same time, he was inspired to create a collection of wallpapers in the style of sports faces. Calling their collection of 13 images “Fitness Wallpapers,”they play on the colors and design of standard watchOS images.
Personally, I am a fan of the orange-purple wallpaper found below under the number “003”. I have been very attracted to purple ever since I bought the M1 iMac and the iPhone 14 Pro Max in the same color.
