Mobile gamers have been waiting with bated breath for EA to announce their plans for Battlefield Mobile, and it looks like they finally have some work to do. Starting later this month, the Battlefield Mobile closed beta will be available to Android users.
Typically, closed mobile tests contain some content that will be featured in the game at launch so that developers can get feedback directly from players prior to launch. Many elements of the Battlefield Mobile CBT may change during launch, but this will be a clear indication of the direction the game is heading in.
Pre-registration for Battlefield Mobile is currently available on the Google Play Store, so if you’d like to get an early look at the game and see how it performs in the Closed Beta, you can pre-register now.
Battlefield Mobile Closed Beta Begins Later This Month
Battlefield Mobile is one of the most anticipated titles in the mobile gaming world, and EA has got all the attention. The publisher has embraced mobile gaming as a viable way to reach new audiences through some of its most popular franchises.
Games like FIFA Soccer, NBA JAM and soon Apex Legends Mobile are available on mobile devices and ensure that EA’s game catalog is accessible to the widest possible audience.
From what we’ve seen so far, Battlefield Mobile will retain much of its identity compared to the console/PC version. Large-scale combat, vehicle-based combat, and environmental destruction are also key tenets of Battlefield Mobile.
It will be interesting to see if EA can bring the Battlefield experience to mobile well and if the community responds well to the game. The game will likely release sometime in the second half of 2022 after EA did a couple of beta tests, both open and closed.
