iQoo is gearing up to launch the Neo 5S in China on December 20th. Days before the launch, the company officially announced the first look of the smartphone and also confirmed several features of the upcoming iQoo Neo 5S. Let’s take a look at the design of the device as well as some key specs.

In addition, on Weibo, the company also confirmed that the Neo 5S will be powered by Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor, which was also confirmed a few days ago. The phone will run on the new Origin OS Ocean operating system, which offers features such as a new lock screen design, live wallpapers, nano notifications, a nano music player, and a number of other user interface changes.
The iQoo Neo 5S is said to be 6.56 inches tall and has an OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. There will be a hole punch hole in the center of the screen at the top of the device. An 8GB + 128GB configuration is expected, along with other options. In terms of camera capabilities, the phone will have a 48MP main camera (Sony IMX 598) with optical image stabilization and a 16MP selfie camera. The phone is rumored to pack a 4,500mAh battery with support for 66W fast charging. Other expected features include a dual speaker setup, a second-generation fingerprint scanner, and a liquid cooling system. According to the leaks, the 8GB + 128GB model will cost 2,999 Yuan, while the 12GB + 256GB model will cost 3,499 Yuan.
