Ghostbusters VR Game Coming Soon to Meta Quest 2
Meta had a very pleasant surprise at the end of their presentation of virtual reality games for the Quest platform. Indeed, viewers were surprised to learn that a Ghostbusters game is in development for the Meta Quest 2 headset. Sony Pictures Virtual Reality (SPVR) will release this four-player co-op game. The title was developed by nDreams, to which we already owe Far Cry VR: Dive Into Insanity.
An excellent ghost hunting campaign that can be played alone or in a group of up to 4 people.
Ghostbusters VR (that’s its current name) is set to take the iconic license from New York to San Francisco. And we probably won’t be wrong if we say that players will go on a ghost hunt using their proton pack and other particle launchers. SPVR explains that the game will feature a “big and exciting campaign”that you can play alone or with up to three friends. No launch date has been announced, but SPVR promises to reveal more in the coming months.
It’s not the only Ghostbusters game out there. Friday the 13th: The Game Developer Studio Illfonic is currently working on Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, a game that pits a team of four players against a fifth player who controls a ghost. This title is currently planned for the end of the year on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
