OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass and boAt Rokerz 255 Series Top Selling Neckbands: Counterpoint

Ever since brands started removing the headphone jack from smartphones, the demand for personal audio devices has skyrocketed all over the world. Today, we have options like true wireless earbuds, headphones, and neckbands. Over the past couple of years or so, we’ve seen several brands launch neckbands in the budget segment. These include brands such as OnePlus and Realme, which are primarily known for their smartphones.

A new market report reveals the best-selling neckbands. Boat took first place, while OnePlus and Realme rounded out the top three. Let’s take a closer look at the report.

OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass and Boat Rokerz 255 Series are the best-selling neckbands

According to Counterpoint Research, in the first quarter of 2022, that is, from January 2022 to March 2022, Boat became the number one brand, while OnePlus became the second most popular brand. Third place goes to Realme. As for the best selling product, OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Bass. The Boat Rokerz 255 series comes in second and the Realme Buds Wireless 2 Neo comes in second.

Boat managed to capture 25.7% of the market, OnePlus 14.9% and Realme 9.6%. Zebronics and Boult Audio round out the top five with market shares of 4.2% and 3.6%, respectively.

The Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition was released back in October 2020 and is still one of the best selling neckbands even 18 months after launch. The Boat Rockerz 255 series consists of the Boat Rockerz 255, Boat Rockerz 255 Neo and Boat Rockerz 255 Pro neckbands. Realme Buds Wireless 2 Neo was launched back in July 2021. All of the above products from Realme, OnePlus and Boat are also under $26.

Also, it’s no surprise that 70% of neckbands sold in the first quarter of 2022 were in the $13 to $26 price range. Finally, over 3/4 of the neckbands were sold online, with the Flipkart e-commerce platform dominating.
