Along with the launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro phone, the company also announced two new audio products today: the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2, a new Bluetooth wireless neckband, and a new Radiant Silver color option for the already launched OnePlus Buds Pro.
The Bullets Wireless Z2 is the successor to the widely popular budget models Bullets Wireless Z and the Bullets Wireless Z Bass Edition. The new Bullets Wireless Z2 features a 12.4mm driver, up to 20 hours of battery life, and IP55 water and dust resistance. Let’s take a look at OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 and Buds Pro Radiant Silver.
OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 price and availability
The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 is priced at $26 and will go on sale through Amazon, Flipkart, and OnePlus starting April 5th. It will be available in Magico Black and Beam Blue color options.
OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 features and specifications
The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z2 is not completely different from the first generation Bullets Wireless Z in terms of design. It comes with an angled in-ear design for a secure fit. You also get replacement ear tips in the box. The neck strap is made of skin-friendly silicone material. It features a 12.4mm driver which is an upgrade from the last generation 9.2mm setup. Headphones support AAC and SBC codecs. The neckband is also equipped with magnetic earpieces with auto pause and play function.
Battery life is now rated at 30 hours (at 50% volume), which is a jump from the last generation’s 20 hours. A 10-minute charge is calculated for 20 minutes. A full charge via the Type-C port takes about 30 minutes. For control, you get built-in volume controls and a multi-function button that can be used to play/pause, skip a track, and access Google Assistant. You also get single, double, triple press and long press functions. The neck strap is also IP55 rated, which means you can wear it to the gym and workouts.
Other features include 102 dB SPL, Bluetooth 5.0, range up to 10 meters, 200 mAh battery capacity and 230 grams weight.
OnePlus Buds Pro Radiant Silver Launched
The OnePlus Buds Pro Radiant Silver color has also been announced and will retail for $131. This is an additional color option to the existing color options 一 Matte Black and Gloss. Aside from the color change, the rest of the specs remain the same.
OnePlus Buds Pro TWS is equipped with 11mm dynamic drivers and supports SBC, AAC, LHDC and AptX codecs. They come with Bluetooth 5.2 wireless connectivity. The Buds Pro come with noise reduction up to 40dB in extreme mode and up to 25dB in ambient sound mode. In terms of battery life, they are rated at 38 hours with ANC enabled and up to 28 hours with ANC enabled. A quick 10-minute charge via the Type-C port is rated for 10 hours of music playback. Buds Pro also supports Qi wireless charging. The Buds Pro are IP55 rated and the case is IPX4.
