OnePlus is rumored to be working on a Core Edition variant for the Nord 2. The Nord 2 CE is rumored to launch in the first quarter of 2022. The device borrows some of the main features of the original Nord 2 that was launched earlier this year. According to several online reports, the device is codenamed Ivan. The company has yet to confirm any details regarding the launch of the upcoming OnePlus smartphone. OnePlus Nord 2 CE launch may be delayed by a few weeks. According to the report, the device could be launched in February 2022. Yogesh (via GizmoChina), who made the announcement, did not give an exact launch date for the device.
Detailed information about the device was leaked to the past. The phone is rumored to have a 64MP main camera. According to the leaked design images, there is a triple camera module on the back of the phone. It will include an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, there will be a 16 MP front camera.
The front camera is housed inside the punch hole in the top left corner. The display of the device has a height of 6.4 inches. It features a flat AMOLED panel with 90Hz refresh rate support. OnePlus skipped the warning slider on the Nord 2 CE. The phone will likely have a 4,500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging.
Under the hood, there will be a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. It will have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The OnePlus smartphone will run OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box.
