OnePlus has not yet confirmed the launch of the Nord 2T in India. The report claims that the Nord 2 successor will be launched in India later this month. The report does not provide an exact launch date. Like many other OnePlus smartphones in India, the Nord 2T will be available for purchase through Amazon.
The Nord 2T is expected to cost between Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000. The report says that OnePlus could launch the base variant with a starting price of around Rs 30,000. We can expect the base variant to offer 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The Nord 2T shares most of the hardware with the Nord 2. The main differences are in the processor and fast charging department. The Nord 2T is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC. In comparison, the Nord came with a Dimensity 1200 SoC.
OnePlus has upgraded the Nord 2T’s fast charging to 80W from the Nord 2’s 65W support. The battery capacity remains the same at 4500mAh.
The Nord 2T has a triple camera on the back. 50MP Sony IMX766 main camera sensor. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 2MP monochrome sensor. For selfies, the Nord 2T features a 32-megapixel front camera.
The phone has a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate support. It has a Full HD+ resolution and a notch in the upper left corner of the display. The phone supports 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, etc. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner and AI face unlock. The device is also equipped with two speakers with Dolby Atmos support. It runs Android 12 out of the box and has an Oxygen OS 12 layer on top.
