Oppo launched two new mid-range phones today as part of its design-focused F series. Today, the company unveiled the Oppo F21 Pro 5G and Oppo F21 Pro devices at an online event. Along with the launch of the F21 Pro duo, the company has also announced new true wireless earphones in India called the Oppo Enco Air2 Pro.
Oppo F21 Pro devices are equipped with Snapdragon 6 series processors and both devices come with AMOLED display and orbital glow design. In terms of optics, both phones feature a 64-megapixel primary camera on the back. The 4G version comes with a 32MP Sony IMX709 selfie camera. Let’s take a look at both phones in detail.
Oppo F21 Pro 5G, Oppo F21 Pro Price and Availability
The Oppo F21 Pro 5G comes with one RAM and storage option. The 8GB + 128GB model costs $356. It will be available in Rainbow Spectrum and Cosmic Black. On the other hand, Oppo F21 Pro 4G is also available in 8GB + 128GB variant for $303. It will be sold in Sunset Orange and Cosmic Black color options. The 4G version will be available from April 15 and the F21 Pro 5G from April 21 on Amazon.
Oppo F21 Pro 5G: Specifications
The Oppo F21 Pro 5G features a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 695 5G processor and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Inside the phone is a 4500mAh battery with support for 33W Type-C fast charging.
In terms of camera, the phone has a 64MP main camera, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the phone has a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The phone runs ColorOS 12 based on Android 11 which is disappointing. Other features include 7.49mm thickness, 173g weight, luminous design and dual orbital light which is basically an LED ring around the rear camera lens that reminds you of all your important notifications, messages and calls.
Oppo F21 Pro: Specifications
In terms of camera, the Oppo F21 Pro 4G features a 32MP Sony IMX709 RGBW selfie camera that is 60% more sensitive to light and reduces noise by 35% compared to the latest generation sensor. On the back of the phone is a 64MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture, a 2MP microscope lens, and a 2MP mono lens. The device runs on Android 11, weighs 175 grams and has a thickness of 7.49 mm. The phone is available in Sunset Orange and Cosmic Black colors. The Sunset Orange is wrapped in fiberglass leather for a premium look and feel. Both phones are equipped with a fingerprint scanner and face unlock support. The 4G F21 Pro variant runs ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12.
