Oppo is expected to launch a new K9 series smartphone. The specifications and design of the upcoming Oppo K9x have been revealed with 91 mobile devices. The upcoming Oppo K-series device will have a two-tone back panel. It will also be 5G capable and offer a 5,000mAh battery, 33W fast charging, and more. Oppo K9x rendering and design
The renders show a frameless display with a notch in the upper left corner. The back of the phone will house a triple camera, an LED flash, and the Oppo logo. The renders also show the device in blue and black color options.
The left edge of the device will house the volume rockers and the SIM card tray. In this case, the power button will be located on the right edge. The power button on the upcoming Oppo K9x will also double as a fingerprint scanner. It seems that there is an additional microphone on the top edge. So, the charging port, main microphone and speaker grille should be on the bottom edge.
Oppo K9x Specifications and Features
A 91mobiles report reveals that the upcoming Oppo K9x will sport a 6.5-inch FHD+ LCD display. The report suggests that the display on the device will be a high refresh rate panel.
Oppo’s upcoming K-series device will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity processor. For those who don’t know, MediaTek Dimensity is based on TSMC’s 6nm process and comes with a Mali G-57 GPU. This is the same processor used in several other mid-range phones such as Realme 8s 5G, Redmi Note 11T 5G, Vivo V23e 5G, POCO M4 Pro 5G and more.
Moving on to optics, the Oppo K9x is said to feature a triple rear camera setup and an LED flash. The main 64MP sensor on the device will be accompanied by a pair of 2MP sensors. For selfies and video calls, it offers a 16-megapixel camera on the front. The phone is said to come with a 5,000mAh battery and support for 33W fast charging.
The Oppo K9x will come in three storage configurations – 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB storage. It will also offer a microSD card for further storage expansion.
