Oppo announces three-year partnership with Hasselblad

You may remember that last year OnePlus announced a partnership with Hasselblad to further improve the photo part on their devices. Today, it appears that Oppo is jumping on the bandwagon, so to speak, formalizing a three-year partnership with Hasselblad. This is not very surprising if you know that Oppo and OnePlus are owned by the same company BBK Electronics. Therefore, it is quite a logical initiative.

with clearly defined goals for photography

One might wonder if there is a conflict of interest here. Or maybe, on the contrary, it should be seen as a desire for real synergy. In any case, the first results of the Oppo and Hasselblad partnership should be visible in the brand’s next smartphone, the Oppo Find X, which should be called the Find X5 to the general public.

According to Oppo, “OPPO and Hasselblad will now work together to develop advanced imaging solutions through research and development collaboration to provide users with more natural colors and an even more perfect image. By using the natural color calibration tool from Hasselblad, OPPO is also committed to providing the most natural skin tones for portrait photography.”

The advantage of this is that it is clear, with well-defined goals. See you soon to discover the first fruits of this collaboration.
