“Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” will not escape another delay

Rocksteady Studios announces that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will release on February 2, 2024 on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC (Epic Games Store/Steam) instead of May 26.

As Bloomberg’s chief Jason Schreier realized last March, the release of the TPS action-adventure starring Task Force X, a team of supervillains belonging to the DC Comics universe, has been officially delayed for several months:

We’ve made the difficult but much-needed decision to take the time to ensure players get the best possible gaming experience. Thank you to our amazing community for your continued support, patience and understanding. We still have more to share in the coming months, and we look forward to seeing you in Metropolis next year.

Cooperative gameplay for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

Gaz Deeves, head of marketing for Rocksteady Studios, said:

With Kill the Justice League, we wanted the city where Suicide Squad takes place to be an integral part of the combat. With that in mind, we knew we had to develop our biggest map yet. Metropolis is twice the size of Gotham City in Batman Arkham Knight, but it’s not just about size. We’ve added a lot of detail and personality to make our world feel more alive, which players should enjoy. Each member of the Suicide Squad has their own unique way to move around the city, while one-to-four-player play options and skill trees for each character let you customize your gameplay.

Behind the Scenes of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

Developed by Rocksteady Studios, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a third-person shooter and action-adventure game that pits players against Harley Quinn aka Dr. Harlin Quinzel, Deadshot aka Floyd Lawton, Captain Boomerang aka Digger Harkness and King. Shark, aka Nanaue. Former residents of Arkham Asylum, they will join forces to defeat the world’s greatest superhero, the Justice League.
