Josh Brolin to star in Outer Ranger for Amazon.
The TV series Outer Ranger revolves around Royal Abbott (Josh Brolin), a rancher fighting for his land and his family, who discovers an unfathomable secret deep in the Wyoming wilderness. The story begins with the Abbots dealing with the disappearance of their stepdaughter Rebecca. They are pushed to the brink when the Tillersons (showy owners of a nearby profitable rancher) try to get their land. An untimely death in the community sets off a tense chain of events, and the small town’s seemingly land-related problems come to a head with the appearance of a mysterious black void in the Abbotts’ western pasture.
