Moira heals multiple teammates at once, is easy to target and damage, and her Fade ability to avoid fights is annoying. Also, watching Moira’s Top 500 Twitch main streams will show you how good she is on the cards. So today we are going to look at who is the best counterer for Moira and how to counter her with each hero in Overwatch 2.
How to counter Moira in Overwatch 2
I play Moira and in my experience Roadhog is the best hero to counter Moira. His ability is “Chain Hook”and one-shot kill “Scrap Gun”. Also, if the timing isn’t right, Moira won’t be able to dodge using her Vanish ability and can be eliminated quite easily. On top of all that, Roadhog can use his Chain Hook to negate Moira’s ultimate ability, Fusion. But with a maximum range of 30 meters, Moira tries to keep her distance before launching her ult.
Next, Junker Queen also counters Moira very well. By combining the Jagged Blade ability (using it to pull her in) and then using sawed-off shots, Moira can be easily destroyed. Pharah players can also easily damage Moira at long range. Pharah is difficult for many new players because they fly very close to the ground and Moira’s Biotic Grasp has a maximum range of 20 meters.

Especially indoors, where the Sphere will constantly bounce off the walls. Winston’s Tesla Cannon deals 50 damage per second at a distance of 8 meters. But she can deal damage to you for 20 meters. The secondary Tesla cannon (hold to charge) has a maximum range of 30 meters, but it only deals 50 maximum damage. And she will start healing herself before your next shot. Even Winston’s Primal Fury does 40 damage per hit. But Moira’s Biotic Orb will heal her for 65 health per second. In short, avoid Winston as a counter. Just use your “Barrier Projector”
