Xiaomi Mi Band 7 will be launched later this year with some improvements over the current model, which is the Mi Band 6. A new report from XDA Developers has leaked key features of smart wearables. It claims that the upcoming Mi Band 7 will feature an even larger display than the Mi Band 6. Citing Magical Unicorn, the report reveals that the Mi Band 7 is codenamed L66. It will have model numbers M2129B1 and M2130B1. The screen will have a larger display with a resolution of 192 x 490p. However, the exact screen size remains unknown. Mi Band 6 has a 1.56-inch display.
The upcoming Mi Band 7 will also feature an always-on display feature. Along with this, it will have support for multiple watch faces and a variety of workout modes such as Zumba, Aerobics, etc. Xiaomi is also expected to offer built-in GPS support in the upcoming Mi smart band. At the same time, the Band 6 firmware also assumed that it would have built-in GPS support, but this feature was not in the final product.
In addition to this, Band 7 will be equipped with a Smart Alarm feature. This feature will automatically wake you up from a light sleep 30 minutes before your set alarm. Finally, Mi Band 7 will come with a new power saving mode to extend the battery life of the smart band.
